Learn more about Wings for Falmouth Families

Wings for Falmouth Families (WFFF) is a community-based, 501(c)3 established in 2003 by Lisa and Eric Asendorf. The charity provides local families financial assistance when they are experiencing a medical crisis or tragic event.

While medical costs may be covered by insurance, spousal loss of work, childcare and housing expenses, to name a few, add up to an enormous burden.

Here are some incredible ways Wings for Falmouth Families has been able to assist families in need so far:

One young family with a 15 month old child recently received $2000 to help pay the mortgage and living expenses when the father suddenly died.

A single parent with a 10 and 14 year old recently received $1200 to pay the mortgage. The mother is battling cancer and is unable to work.Fortunately, a hospice provider had heard of Wings for Falmouth Families and referred her our way.

Another young family recently received $500 to help pay household bills as the mother is disabled due to a head injury from a car accident and her husband recently fell off of a building while working and had to have back surgery. He received short-term disability and is awaiting long-term disability. The couple have a 2 year old.
